The Trustee has to provide members with a summary of the Scheme’s finances for the year to 31 March. This includes any changes in how much money the Scheme has set aside to pay benefits, the type of investments the Scheme holds and the number of members in each category.

Value of the Scheme’s assets

This is a summary of how the value of the Scheme’s assets has been calculated as at 31 March 2020.

The Scheme’s accounts for the financial year ended 31 March 2020 have been audited by KPMG LLP.

Although the Scheme’s value has increased from last year, it’s important to note that the value of investments can go down as well as up.

As at 31 March 2020 and 31 March 2019, the Scheme’s assets were split as follows:
