Early 2019 saw the merger of three existing providers of government-sponsored financial guidance to form the Money and Pensions Service (MAPS). You may be familiar with the three providers that MAPS will be replacing - Money Advice Service, Pensions Advisory Service and Pension Wise.
MAPS’s main aims are:
- To develop people’s financial capability
- To improve debt management among UK citizens
- To provide financial education to children and young people
