Your annual pension increase has been applied

17 April 2020

We’re pleased to confirm that we have completed the application of the annual increase to pensions in payment with effect from 1 May 2020.

We will begin posting letters confirming how much your pension has gone up by from Friday 17 April.

The increase is based on the change in the retail price index (RPI) over the 12 months to 31 December 2019, which was 2.2%. Please note your pension may not receive the full increase of 2.2%, we have provided further information in your letter.

Please note that it may take longer for your letter to arrive as the Royal Mail is experiencing delays across its postal services.

By early May 2020, your pension increase letter will be available to view and download by logging into the M&S Pension Scheme Portal. Look for My Details and click on My Mailbox

You can view your monthly payslips and P60s on the Portal, by clicking on the links under My Pension.

If you haven’t registered your pension account yet, visit The M&S Pension Scheme Portal, click on Register and complete the Registration Form. If you need help registering, you can watch our step by step guide or download the instructions.

The Helpline Team receive a higher volume of calls at this time and it’s likely that it will take longer for you to reach a member of the team.

If you do not receive your pension increase letter in the post by the end of April, we would like to encourage you to access it online via the M&S Pension Scheme Portal, instead of contacting the Helpline.

If your query is not urgent, we ask you to consider submitting it to the Pension Administration Team by email instead.
